About Harry Street Carpet

Harry Street Carpet started back in 1950 with little more than determination, family grit, and a shoestring budget. What began as a small shop soon started expanding as neighboring buildings were added on, eventually growing into a 16,000-square-foot space that served us well for years.

But the business kept growing. By 2014, it was time for something bigger, and we broke ground on a full city-block facility—40,000 square feet of modern, yet simple space designed to meet the needs of our customers while staying true to our roots.

In those early days, folks often called us “The Little Store That Could.” Through recessions, challenges, and changes in the industry, Harry Street Carpet kept moving forward. To this day, we rely less on flashy advertising and more on what matters most—word-of-mouth and happy customers who keep coming back.

Even though we’ve grown into a much larger, more modern facility, we still treat every customer the same way we did in 1950—with honesty, care, and appreciation.
